It's generic title, seemingly low budget and presumably cheap production values render is a "typical grindhouse flick" from the mid 70s, however if one looks beyond its tawdry shell, Easy Alice is easily one of the most complex and underrated features of the golden age of sexually explicit cinema.
Easy Alice emerged from the San Francisco film scene in early 1976, implying that it was most likely shot in mid to late 1975. The cast is entirely of San Francisco origin and the film makes liberal use of infamous S.F. sex dens such as the intersection of Broadway and Columbus. Also, clocking in at a rather long running time for its time of production of 84 minutes and containing a great variety of both indoor and outdoor locations, Easy Alice would seem to be an ambitious, high budget production. However, nothing could be further than the truth.
The production is poor, the microphone and lighting stands make numerous cameos, and at one brief instance a crew member can even be spotted hiding in the corner of a room snapping shots of the carnal action taking place on the bed. In fact, all the hallmarks of a bad production are present in this film yet as it unfolds, we are asked the question:what is the sepaeration between cinema and reality?
Joey Silvera plays Joey, a slightly altered version of himself. He's a hapless loser who occasionally moonlights in, has no life or day job, but has a girlfriend named Carrol (Linda Wong) who pleads which him to abandon his career in the sex industry. When Joey leaves Carrol for the day to replace an actor (Paul Scariff) who has been too abusive towards a co-star; "they like it rough!" he says, Alice decides to head over to a friend's house for a day and ends up getting high and into a three-way with none other than a young Annette Haven (billed here as Annette Funette). Meanwhile Joey and the other actor take on the town, but end up getting drunk and milling around North Beach for the night having delirious adventures.
Easy Alice is one of many hardcore films which is critical of porn, but unlike most such films, Easy Alice takes a humanistic look at the people involved in the films rather than commenting on their morality. Alice examines the hopelessness and abandon of the lives led by performers in porn films, but simultaneously the film is shot with the same sloppiness as its characters live. This gives the film a double entendre of almost exploiting visually what it pities socially.
The opening credits are presented without the luxury of high class printed opticals, instead printed on large pieces of black card stock. Notably missing is a director credit which makes the film even more of a mysterious. Not including this credit could be a deliberate in-joke to the absence of this credit in the type of sex film this picture is attempting to belittle.
Silver's character allows the film to further expand on it's existential subtext. Easy Alice doesn't pull any punches in supporting or condemning being in or making porn, but rather serves to document the hopelessness of making a life from acting in explicit films.
Paul Scariff as Paul represents the lowest of the low. He is revealed as living in a room, unfurnished besides a dirty mattress on the floor. His subsequent acts of violence serve as aggression towards the society which has ignored him. The film leaves Scariff after one of his attacks, focusing back on Silvera for the remainder of the film, ending with Silvera returning to Carrol only to repeat the same cycle again some other day.
Easy Alice is a depressing and realistic look at the hardcore film world.

Description:: Ah, the delightful Flight Sensations. This film IMHO is probably the last really good Seka film out there (has anyone seen American Garter? if you haven't, don't.) and features Seka and Desiree Cousteau as Air Hostesses. Seka being the experienced trolley dolly, she takes Desiree under her wing, leading her down the garden path of sexuality....and recounting a great deal of sex scenes in the process. The most recognisable of which is the strap on "robot" dildo that a girl proceeds to use on Seka and Juliet Anderson.

I've seen this film in several versions down the years, but haven't noted half the actors listed in the IAFD. All I have recognised are Seka, Desiree Cousteau, Connie Peterson, Desiree West, and Juliet Anderson. For the blokes I think there was Jamie Gillis, Mike Ranger, John Holmes, David Morris, and an unrecognisable Mike Horner (did this guy have a nose job in the late eighties?) maybe I've got a chopped version...

Though essentially a swedish erotica style wall-to-waller, (I think the air hostesses even wear THOSE neck scarves as well), it's thoroughly enjoyable stuff, and has that Golden Age charm that seemed to evaporate circa 1984. It's pretty much Seka's show, she's in every scene here, and thankfully, isn't as cold and wooden as she can be. Desiree Cousteau (unfortunately) only has one full scene at the end, but pretty much steals the show with her usual ditz act. Overall 3.25 on the Imperator scale, but this depends on whether your a Seka fan, obviously.

Pleasure So Deep Description: "Shot in Italy, 'Pleasure So Deep' is a great example of Euro-porn from that era. The story centers on a mafia godfather who runs a counterfeiting operation out of the back of his funeral parlor. He's got a sex-crazed wife who can't seem to get enough, and a daughter who spends her time in massage parlors delving into a little hooking on the side. The godfather sends his right-hand man to check up on his daughter (Lauren St. Germain), little suspecting that the guy will actually fall for her. The plot thickens as Lauren finds out about the counterfeiting business and gets moved into a spacious villa on the Italian coast. The don sends his man along to keep an eye on her, which he's all too happy to do. Still, the daughter has no time for the guy until he proves his worth by saving her from a trio of roughnuts who are intent on getting what they want by force. She rewards the loyal lackey by treating him to some savory oral action, then joining him in a boat for a ravenous romp. The boat wends its way along the coast, exposing some great scenery as well as Lauren's more obvious charms. Outstanding settings and some otherwise unknown performers make this one a real treat.

Crazy titles come, and crazy titles go in this industry, and in most cases the story-line never quite matches up to the promises.

No so in this looney tempura which finds Randy West as Prof. Wank, conductor of "Stupid Expeliments," the victim of a telephone pole-sized chopstick implanted squarely up this takeout. It's the work of those sexy, tinsel-wigged Samurai Sluts versed the insclutable oliental plactition of Fukh yu.

Here's a feature that has some uproarious chuckles as detectives Robert Bullock (with a Clouseau identity crisis) and his laconic sidekick Randy Spears enlist Prof. Chu Anne Ginsburg to help track Tracey Adams and her "sruts" to their lair in Don's noodle kitchen. Of course, sex is all part of the cloak and dagger ensemble. The Speers/Adams/Chopstix scene is hilarious.

I'm impressed not so much by the sex but by the imbalanced sense of humor that went into this production, no less aided and abetted by a goofy strobe-orchestrated chop sockey fight that culminates in a one from column a, two from column b orgy.

This makes on of two adult features I've seen this year (the other being Moonlight Entertainment's Case of The Sensuous Sinners) that rates a well deserved encore. Fairly sexy, but very funny.

The Story: The movie begins with a narrator telling us about this guy Peter. This movie is about a problem he had and a girl named Lonni who helped him solve it.
The narration fades and we see Lonni (Kascha), reading a magazine when Peter (Peter North) shows up. Peter tells Lonni about a party he wants to organize for his girlfriend, but unfortunately he has no money. Lonni doesn't have any money either. Bummer.
